How do I organise for my pet to be picked up?

We are honoured to assist you in arranging your pet’s water cremation in Townsville. Whether you’d like us to collect your pet from home (for an additional fee) or from your veterinary clinic, our team ensures a gentle and respectful pickup. You can easily arrange collection by booking online or contacting us at 0735 194 990. If your pet is at the vet, you may also request the clinic staff to organise the collection directly with us. Once confirmed, we will take care of all the logistics according to your wishes.

How much notice do you need to organise a collection?

For home collections, we only require a short two-hour notice for same-day service. Alternatively, you can choose a specific date and time if you require our services on another day. Please note that veterinary collections occur during business hours.

How long will my pet be in your care?

Your beloved pet will be in our care for up to 5 business days as we prepare for their gentle water cremation in Townsville. We understand how important it is for you to be reunited, and we are committed to ensuring a respectful and dignified process during this time

How is my pet transported between locations?

We understand how important it is to treat your beloved pet with the utmost care and respect during this difficult time. Our caring team is trained to handle your pet gently, and our refrigerated vehicles help ensure they remain preserved. Your precious one will be placed in a safe transportation pouch, which includes an absorbent pad to prevent any leakage. The pouch has a zipper that allows you to either seal it completely or leave it open for a final moment to say goodbye.

How Can I Be Sure That the Remains Returned Are My Pet’s?

We understand that ensuring the return of your pet’s ashes is a primary concern for all pet owners, and we are deeply committed to this responsibility. Our traceable chain of custody is meticulously designed to incorporate specific steps and digital processes that guarantee you receive 100% of your pet’s ashes.

Detailed Chain of Custody: From the moment your pet is in our care, we implement a detailed chain of custody using QR codes that are updated at every stage of the process. This allows for real-time tracking as your pet moves through different stages and locations.

Unique Identification: We use a stainless-steel disc engraved with a unique ID code that travels with your pet throughout the entire process and is checked at every step to ensure accurate identification.

Microchip Tracking: If your pet has a permanent identification microchip, we can use it as an additional tracking tool. Upon request, we can recover and return the microchip to you, though please note that this service incurs an additional cost.

Thorough Documentation: The placement of your pet is diagrammed on a large whiteboard. When your pet is removed from the process, we conduct another identification check. The bone remains are processed individually, one pet at a time, ensuring the integrity of the remains throughout the entire process.
