In Home Pet Euthanasia

Because healing starts with the way you say goodbye…
Preparing to say a final farewell to your beloved pet is never easy. Whether they’ve been by your side for years or they’re being taken away too early, your pet deserves the very best end-of-life care.
Choosing in-home pet euthanasia Townsville allows your pet to pass at home in a calm and familiar environment — the ultimate act of kindness, especially if they are unwell or fearful of that final trip to the vet.
Although we don’t offer veterinary services directly, we partner with trusted local mobile vets to form a supportive team that can walk alongside you during one of the most difficult times in your life. Together, we aim to ensure everything runs smoothly, so you can focus on what truly matters — being present with your beloved pet and saying goodbye in your own time and way.
Tailored Transfers to Suit your Farewell
To make the process as gentle and seamless as possible, we can liaise directly with your chosen vet to coordinate the aftercare transfer. Depending on your needs and the mobile vet you choose, here are the available options:
- Sunset Pets: Transfers your pet directly into our care on the same day (during business hours) or the next day if the appointment takes place after hours.
- Vet 2 Your Pet: Typically transfers your pet to their clinic in Kirwan. We then collect your pet from their premises during business hours.
- NQ Mobile Vets: Does not provide transport services. In this case, we can offer our home collection service for a fee of $80 or you can opt for self delivery.
- Self-Delivery: You are also welcome to personally bring your pet into our care by appointment. Our office is located at 9/25 Greg Jabs Drive, Garbutt, and we can coordinate a suitable time for you to visit.
You can always choose to spend more time with your beloved pet at home after their passing — giving your family the space to say goodbye, reflect, and honour the rituals that are meaningful to you. Once you’re ready, we can schedule a home collection or arrange for a time to receive your pet in person.
Whilst we will always do our best to be with you when you need us, we endeavour to work with families for whom pet euthanasia is a planned and carefully considered decision. If your pet is in crisis or requires urgent medical attention please contact
